What are credits

Credits are the unit used to power IrukaDark's AI features. Each AI action — text explanation, translation, image generation, meeting notes, and more — consumes credits.

Conversion rate

$1 = 100 credits. Plan prices map directly to monthly credit allowances.

What consumes credits

The following AI actions consume credits. The amount varies by action type and the size of the generated content.

• Text explanations (Option+A, Option+Shift+A, etc.)
• Screen / screenshot explanations (Option+S, Option+Shift+S)
• Translation and rewrite (Option+R, Option+W)
• URL summaries (Option+Q, Option+Shift+Q)
• Chat conversations
• Image, video, and slide generation
• AI meeting notes (transcription and summarization)

Expiration

Expiration depends on the credit type.

• Subscription credits — Valid until your next renewal date. They do not roll over; a new allowance is granted each billing cycle.
• Free plan monthly credits — Expire at the start of the next month (UTC). No roll-over.
• Credit packs (add-on purchase) — Valid for 180 days from the purchase date.

Running out of credits

If your plan credits run out, you have three options:

1. Wait for the next renewal — The next renewal automatically grants the plan's credits.
2. Upgrade to a higher plan — You'll immediately receive more credits. See Upgrading your plan.
3. Buy a credit pack — If you have an active paid plan, purchase a credit pack (500 / 1,000 / 3,000 / 5,000) from the Plan / Billing page in the dashboard. Add-on credits are valid for 180 days.

Checking your balance and history

• Balance — View your current balance and this month's usage on the dashboard home.
• Usage history — See daily usage and transaction history (which feature consumed how many credits) on the Usage page.

Notes

• When you downgrade to a cheaper plan, your existing credit balance is never reduced.
